Our half-day and full-day Connection Skills Workshops provide a flexible alternative to our Core Programme. They can be delivered as stand-alone sessions or integrated into your existing L&D initiatives, for mixed cohorts of leaders, managers and teams.

Full-day Workshops

These hands-on sessions are delivered on your premises or at a venue of your choice. They enable delegates to discuss and explore issues specific to your organisation, and deliver rich, actionable outcomes for delegates to take forward.

  • Embedding a Culture of Connection

In the modern workplace, connection doesn’t happen by default and, if we don’t prioritise it, we lose it. In this full-day session, we explore why human connection matters for people and profit, why it matters in your workplace and what blocks it. We’ll then co-design Connection Rituals to address these blockers, creating a new set of new everyday connection-focused behaviours.

  • Improving Communication and Collaboration

Clear communication and smooth collaboration are essential for team success. In this full-day session, we explore the key components of high-performing teams and discover new ways to improve communication and collaboration by focusing on both people and process.

Half-day Workshops

These interactive sessions can be delivered in-person or online. Each session helps delegates learn a specific skill, tool or technique that will heighten their self-awareness and enable them to build better connections with their colleagues.

  • Building a Connection Mindset

Building human connection starts with the right mindset. In this session, delegates are introduced to some basic neuroscience to learn why and how humans are hard-wired for connection and how we can build trust and deepen connection through our intention, language and behaviours.

  • Developing Essential Connection Skills

Great connection requires sustained effort. In this session, we’ll explore unconscious bias and its impact on interactions and relationships. Delegates also learn essential skills to help them listen and engage with an open mind, prepare for difficult conversations, and give really effective feedback.

  • Understanding Your Colleagues

Although all humans are hard-wired for connection, our brains are also unique. In this session, delegates explore a range of preferences for learning, working and communicating, and undertake a group exercise to build an understanding of the individual needs and preferences of cohort members.

I feel like I now have a number of tools that I can apply to my work to foster connection and spot where I can nurture similar behaviours with colleagues.
